On our way home from a quick trip out to take photos of the sunset we stopped to watch the full moon rise. It was particularly beautiful over the rolling fields of canola in full bloom. Then a quick gasp when we saw the two deer with velvet covered antlers pop their heads up in the field. Wonderful memories! This was inspired by from a photograph I took of a passing close encounter with a crow. On a walk by the Bow river I heard him making peculiar noises (as they often do) I stopped and watched him. He too gave me a long stare. He then leaped from his perch and flew straight at me swooping just over my head and carrying on his way. Magical!
