SOAKING UP THE SUN

 
My first attempt at a square canvas!  This little guy was sunning himself in my backyard on a bitter cold afternoon. His ears had started changing colour and a bit on his face. Seeing the bright sunshine on him and the snow sparkling around him was very inspiring and a real relief for my cabin fever.  Just had to paint him. Don't ya', just wanna' go skritch his ears? :o)
